Borrow a researcher (Låna en forskare) 2024

As part of ForskarFredag 2024, climes director Gabriele Messori participated in the national outreach initiative “Låna en Forskare”, coordinated by Vetenskap & Allmänhet. The initiative connects researchers with schools across Sweden to strengthen dialogue between science and society.

During the activity, students will meet a researcher working on climate extremes, weather risks, and societal resilience. The session introduces current research on climate change and extreme weather events, while also providing insight into how interdisciplinary climate research is conducted in practice.

The activity aims to encourage discussion around climate risks, scientific methods, uncertainty, and how research can support societal adaptation in a changing climate.
